Crassula campfire grows vining downward. I made the mistake before of trying to tie them hoping it will creep up hehehe..so I ended up moving it to a basket. It turns red a lot especially when it gets stressed usually in my case here, when it is really cold and sunny. It can easily overrun other succulents, so I do not mix it with other plants.

All my succulents are in fast draining cactus soil which I further augment with perlite, so it is really open and not compact too much. Recently I found another media called akadama soil, used mostly in bonsai, and I find them good for the succulents too.

The baby plants, I just let them be, or I cut the stalk and stick it again inside the same pot or put in another pot. Big Grin
