If you check the Forum, you will see my post saying the J. Davisson daylilies arrived. They are soaking in water and will stay there until they are planted this evening when the temp goes down. We have not been lucky with our weather, still unseasonably warm, so we wait until the sun is pretty much down before the plants go into the ground. We are supposed to have some cloud cover and possibly rain by Saturday evening, sure hope so, we need it. If by some chance it remains on the hot side, my husband will rig up a shade cloth to protect the new plants. Of course we only have a few so that is not a problem for us, will be difficult if you have many DLs and I think you have, but maybe you have cooler weather. And yes, the new plants will get lots of water either by the sky or by us. Really happy for you with the first order, know it will be the first of many---enjoy!!!
