Sharon, I loved your article about sassafras. It is beautifully written and your mention of Sassyfras made me think of my Dad. He said it that way too. Brings a tear to my eye.

and a couple views on my drive home from work. Although I had to get off the main road to take this one, it is in an area we call "the bottoms". The canopy of trees is very quiet and peaceful.
