I have heard conflicting stories about them coming back the next year.I absolutely love the plant & there is a pot of what i believe is (was IDed as) Lobelia erinus & creeping jenny Lysimachia nummularia 'Auroea' & some viola's. If i plant the lobalia & creeping jenny outside in a bed will they reseed & come back next year??
