Terri, I'm so glad to hear that even without power, you are safe from the worst of the storm. And glad you are enjoying your day off with memories. I have not thought of the graveyard moss article in years, but I'm never without it in my garden because it keeps a lot of critters at bay, especially critters who like to nibble on my favorite blooms. Now I'll be thinking about those naps I took near the graveyard moss. Thanks for the reminder.

Little thrills. Sometimes it's the little thrills that keep us jumping from one day into the next. Little thrills like shy mayapples hiding under their umbrellas or a single red trillium when all around it the rest are white. Like the holly tree that suddenly dresses itself in red berries for the first time. Like the first bloom on a magnolia tree that you grew from seed. Little things, little thrills. They keep us going.

It's nice to hear from you again, so good to know you are safe. I enjoyed hearing about your Aunt Mary Lou, and glad she's still coloring up her backyard.

Thank you! Group hug
