I am so distraught Crying
Wanted to go out and take pictures today of what's still blooming and my camera is missing. I may have clipped it to my belt yesterday when I went to town but don't remember for sure. Searched the house & truck many times today so I must have lost it in one of the stores or a parking lot. Grumbling

All my summer hanging baskets are still in full bloom, their hiding under the tall front porch, and a planter with a bright orange begonia is continuing to shoot up big blooms. The star grass (tropical) is still putting on stars and new shoots. Frost has not got any of the annuals in the garden yet but they are all waterlogged and drooping badly, very ugly mess right now but just grew them all for seeds for next year. Drying seeds out now in the garage now.
We have an aster that was sold as a water garden plant from a nursery in spring of last year. When it got 4' tall it overwhelmed the tiny pond so took it out and set the pot in a bucket of water. It had not bloomed by November of last year so took it inside, bucket and all. Came 1st of December and still not blooming but was 6' tall. Put up Xmas tree next to it and it finally started blooming at Christmas. Many small white stars looked excellent next to tree, even put some lights on it. So this spring it left the pot and bucket and went into the ground. I hope it gets a chance to bloom before the frost but not looking like it.
