I went on a photography trip to Pleasure Island on Wednesday and was amazed at the number of Camphor Daisy (Rayjacksonia phyllocephala) that were blooming.
Here is a sample of what I saw.

This dirt road that I drove down was about a mile long and the flowers looked like this the entire distance.

On my right was on embankment. This is what it looked like on the other side. Camphor Daisies as far as you can see. This area covers several hundred acres.
