Just completed foundation repair on south-facing front of house. The usual plants were removed: wax-leaf ligustrum, boxwood, Indian hawthorne, and pittosporum. They were the original plantings over 20 years old. They did leave a crape mrytle and another tree.
Front door is facing south so gets loads of sun. Here's some pictures.
