Maryl, at least in the last five years, I think Bob Selman only sold via eBay, the bloomingauction, and less frequently on the Lily Auction. (The list on his website just gives you an idea of the 2000 or so daylilies that he grows in his fields.) In years gone by, he has run sales - i.e., at cut-rate prices - in the autumn and/or winter on eBay that offered a greater number of daylilies than appear currently. But, I have no idea what his plans are for the future. Many sellers have mentioned a huge drop in sales recently.)

I don't know as fact that Bob guarantees rust-free daylilies, which would be dangerous for any seller, who might have to contend with buyers who later discover rust in their gardens that actually came from a different source, or even over-wintered in the buyers' own gardens. What I do know is that a couple of years ago a visitor to Blueridge dropped by virtually unannounced and wrote on a forum about discovering pristine growing conditions ('the cleanest garden I've ever seen' was roughly what he wrote), and with well defined quarantine areas and procedures for new arrivals. This description plus knowing that daylilies scheduled for early spring delivery are dug immediately after the snow and ice melt make me feel comfortable with continuing to buy from Blueridge.

If I'm not mistaken, Doris (Casshigh on ATP) on FB mentioned that Eureka isn't producing a book this year. I gather that people hope that someone else might take over the operation, but maybe Doris can expand on this topic.

All the best! - Elizabete
