Wow that's fatastic! Love those colors.
Heres one of my hardy fuchsias. A common one but I have forgotten the name. It has very bright green leaves until a hard frost and red flowers.Thumb of 2012-11-16/springcolor/a17049
At my garden club a fuchsia expert spoke to us and she said fuchsias like sun. The reason they are keep in the shade house is that there roots need to stay cool. Also, she said when you get a new hardy fuchsia to dig it down a few inches like you would a tomato, then over the growing season gradually put soil over the base of the plant. Protects the roots and even if a frost takes the plant to the ground it should come back from the base. She had some beautiful pictures.
