I have been known to bring back lava rocks from out west. Several years ago when DH and I were at the Crazy Horse monument, they had bins of rocks, and for a small donation, you could "buy" a rock, or rocks. Of course, I couldn't pass that up. This was really an ingenious idea by the Ziolkowski family, as they got rid of the excess rocks and made money with which to finish their project, all at the same time. The family takes no government money and relies solely on contributions and admissions to the site to finish this project.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.
