Thanks "Spring" for sharing some info! I live in Seattle in an apartment, (going on 10 years now - where does the time go?) When moving in I asked if I could putter around in the yard and the management has been glad to have me do so! In my (humble) opinion I've done some beautiful improvements! I joined ATP thinking I was doing so to access the amazing database, and then I began interacting with folks and its been really fun! I'm just beginning (May of 1012) to start a Sempervivum (with some sedum) bed...the first batch of plants I planted for looks and didn't keep any labels and thought ('Oh how lovely! I wonder what it is??') This coincided with my joining here and realizing that most people want to know what their looking at (latin name and all!!) Its been good for me to learn! I have many succulents that are outside in summer and 'roommates' in winter, my apartment gets crazy busy in the winter
Here is a photo of me up in Mt Ranier National Park, looking out towards Ranier (did you know there are wild semp and sedum looking plants! - I'm kidding...but I do love hiking in the mountains and coming across some species sedums/succulents!)
Unlike "Spring" my wrinkles are not due to the camera!
I love the foggy mornings of Seattle autumn!
Finally I could post lots of photos of all my dogs, because I walk dogs as a side job...but here is a cute one! Luna a border collie
Cheers
Greg
