I'm glad to know that it's a form of Nepeta. I hadn't realized there are such wide variations in this family of plants!


I'm thinking it might be a seedling of 'Candy Cat'. The pictures I've seen show pink to violet blooms, and the leaves and habit look to be identical to mine. Plus, it would have been something that was mass-produced, since my mom purchased the parent plant locally.

One reason I had thought that it might be Penstemon was the size of the bloom; it's very large in comparison to my other Nepetas. Thumbs up
