A few months ago, on a whim, we had Daylily Week here on ATP. There were multiple articles and tips from a host of different members while we celebrated everything having to do with daylilies (or at least as many things as we could fit into a week!).

It was so much fun that we've dedicated one week per month, every month of 2013, to a different plant. We'll be announcing the whole feature very soon!

January is dedicated to Annuals and Vegetables. Many of us gardeners order and start our seeds for annuals and vegetables in January, so this seemed like the perfect month for that.

IMHO, the best part of these plant weeks is the site-wide participation. We love seeing full length and short ideas come from so many different members!

So Smiling I'm calling for volunteers Smiling Write about any aspect of annual gardening that you an think of. Don't be shy- we can spit and polish any article as needed!

I'd love to keep the actual Ideas a surprise until publication, so let's discuss in tree-mail. Jump in with your own ideas!

Help make ATP's Plant of the Week a huge success! Hurray! Hurray!
