A gringo?Where?(does a doubletake)
The wonderful government of Colombia has been "trying" to eradicate the Cocaine plant fields, & subsequently poisoning the subterranean water supply. Unless I misunderstand, this is causing the water to be bad for plants as well as animal consumption. It was only a thought that has since been put on the wayside, & is no longer important. The fertilizer tea is a nice idea. When I have my own property here to work with, I'll set something like that up. At the moment I think that would be a problem in an apartment. As far as the PH & other such stuff, I will try to visit the agriculture store here before I leave for Ecuador again. That should prove to be an interesting discussion at the store. I can see the clerks face when I tell him I am going to be testing water & soil samples in the jungle. HEHE! Did you take the time to check out my Blog?
