Jelinda, if I understood you right, you said that there's a problem with dampness in the house? I was living in Spokane WA and there were some record snow fall one year and lots of rain. I had much of my house placed in storage units during an interim move that lasted 2 years and I was concerned about the furniture and boxes stored in damp storage unit conditions. I went out to Home Depot and purchased few tubs of Hi Capacity Moisture Absorber called Damp Rid. Every six months the tubs were replaced with new ones. Maybe this would help with the dampness in the home in those wet periods of the year? Something to think about.
Also, regarding starting cuttings during this time of year: I would think you could do the start of cuttings and rooting process that was advised above all inside the house now.
