That plant looks lush enough for the dry summer. I remember I once presented the seeds of Petunia to my friends - the curators of the Rimsky-Korsakov's former estate in Pskov region. Despite the imposing name of the specie's cultivar (something like 'Pink storm') the plant turned out far not that lavish at all.
