Genii is very hardy and reliable, mine usually grows from the previous year's stems but when we had 7 weeks below freezing it regrew from the base.

The Fuchsia Duane posted could be Mrs Popple, but it could be something else.

Mrs Popple:

Flower: Single, on the large side of medium
Tube: Scarlet, glossy, slender and short
Sepals: Scarlet, glossy on top, short and broad, held ½ down with slight recurve
Corolla: Violet-purple fading to rose-red at base
Foliage: Dark green, finely serrated leaves
Habit: Bush

I would say the tube and sepals are carmine rather than red and glossy as on Mrs Popple, the sepals look narrower too than on the one in question.
