I've not had aphids attack my basil, bit they sure like the dill. I attended a little hobby greenhouse seminar the other day and one lady said she puts vaseline on a bright lime colour poster paper. A lot of bugs, like aphids are attracted to the colour and get stuck on the paper. I guess it's similar to those little yellow sticky bug traps papers. Making your own would be cheaper for sure
