It is that time of year again! Dottie tells me her new intros are up.

I especially like Face Mask - as I really love her Cold Cold Heart, and Fireworks Display and I have a long history! It is one of the daylilies I would still grow if I could only grow 10. It has been an amazing parent for me.

So has Chief Blackhand. Passes on amazing plant habit - lots of branching and bud count and if you walk by with pollen, it sets a pod. Several years ago, I took a bloom of Curt Hanson's diploid Never Say Never to Dottie. I may have given her some of the plant later on --- so it stands to reason I would really like her intro this year from Chief Blackhand x Never Say Never.... it is called Christmas Night.
Really pretty!!!

Since Dottie lives so close to me - she was the reason I really got interested big time in daylilies - all her plants do very well for me. She's a stickler when it comes to good color and good plant habit. I wish I could grow all of Dottie's intros! I also like that she introduces a wide range of colors, patterns, forms and bloom sizes. Tets and Dips.
