We've had about 17 inches of snow since yesterday morning, lovely fluffy blow around stuff. It made the trip to Erie (there was mostly good news and a little hmmm news and some new meds for Stan) interesting. We drove through 10 miles of snow, one 5 mile stretch of white out conditions, 4 miles of snow, 15 miles of almost no snow at all and 4 miles of nasty slick city streets at rush hour on the way in. coming home was pretty much light snow and very little road clearing yet. Where on Wednesday the grass was actually greening up with the temps in the upper 50s, everything is again white with temps in the teens and windchills of -1 or -2. Tomorrow, they will drag some woodchuck out of its nice warm nest and pretend that it can predict the rest of the winter. Poor 'chuck.

Welcome to February!!
