Hi all, I'm new to both the site and the forum. I'm hoping to get to know some like minded cacti and succulent <3ing folks.

I read that a weak solution of copper sulphate sprayed on mouldy growths around the base of the cactus would kill off the moulds but not harm the plant. Is this true? If so what proportions of copper sulphate to water is considered optimum? I know that you can't buy copper sulfate any more, but I work in a chem lab, so while I can't take chemicals out of the lab, there's nothing in the rules that says I can't take my cactus into the lab......right??? of Smiling
