We've set the date for April 20, at Lake Naomi between Florala, AL and Lockhart, AL. It officially starts at 10:00 a.m., but it really begins when two people get there. There will be a pot luck lunch and lots of plants. This is a really laid back swap, where we meet, greet, beg everyone to take these plants off our hands, eat, chat, draw for door prizes (everybody bring one, everybody gets one), chat some more, beg more people to take the leftover plants we haven't given away, and finally go on our merry way with a car/truck load of plants. What a fun day!!! If you haven't been to a swap before, this is a good one to start with. What could be better than getting together with a bunch of plant nuts like yourself. This is basically a swap for Dave's Garden/All Things Plants members, but, you can bring a friend WITH you. There is some pre-swapping online, but there will still be lots of plants up for grabs. BTW, you don't have to have a ton of plants, bring what you can and have fun! Folks bring anything and everything from cuttings, seeds, seedlings in cups, to blooming stage plants.
