I would think that should work now, depending on the size. It will get very large down the road and heavy, but you can always adjust then.
I would keep it sunny/ along with Cattleyas in bright conditions. Good air movement is essential.
Moving it in Spring outside a few weeks earlier than the other Orchids seemed to promote a nice blooming season for me.

I think I need another one....
