My first post here but I still know some of you =) There's an event at the Rio Salado Restoration Area that I wanted to share. I have a friend who is a volunteer there, one of many volunteers, I think it is entirely volunteer driven in fact. More info about the habitat can be found here-

I haven't been there but it sounds a lot like the Riparian Preserve down here in Gilbert but with more. Anyways, they are having an event this Saturday, they are hoping for a good turn out so it can be an annual event. Full details are here on their facebook event page
