I agree with Bev, this type of sedum is usually a low growing ground cover, when it sends out flower stems those usually are more upright. Its looking good Jojoe! In a year you'll look on it and be so proud!! Its going to really fill in!
Partly why I grow semps and sedums is they're fairly easy once they're growing. Since yours is putting out new growth its happy! And, these plants do great in very cold weather, especially if its for a short snap, as you noticed it just "wakes" them up and they color up!!
