I have what was a beautiful pot of red tulips, now i have 6 tulip plants in a pot with spent blooms!!

When should i plant these bulbs outside and can i leave them in the pot for now. They won't bloom again until next summer correct. So as long as they are in the ground by the fall they will be ok.

I don't want to wait that long .unless i have to for some unseen reason because that's a busy time for me.How soon can i plant them & what do i need to do with the plant? Leave it for nutrition for the bulb i've heard.

Thank you for any advice or opinions Smiling Thumbs up
Jo
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
