Sandi, I don't have to do it. My brain takes me over, sifts through the info stored, then pops it out like a jackpot on a gambling machine! Rolling on the floor laughing

Seriously! I sometimes wake in the middle of the night with the answer to something which I can't recall, or it comes to me on waking. I think I have what is called a photographic memory, if I'm struggling I switch my mind to a picture of whatever it is. That includes pages of type, I once went on a training course for an insurance company where we had new info to learn every day. In the evening, my room mate would ask the questions as she couldn't recall without hearing it. I would answer, if I couldn't quite place the answer in my mind I pictured the page of type which I had read in the day and had 100% recall.

There's a real struggle between me and my brain at times, I won't let it give up! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Either that, or I am psychic! If I'm trying to remember a person's name from way back, I always recall the first letter and sometimes the last. You know, like those clairvoyants who stand on a stage and say "I'm getting an M". If I can't bring up the name, I leave my brain to do the job of sorting through the files unconsciously, usually it pops out like a jackpot win within a day. nodding
