My aeonium arboreum has various looks through the seasons.

This is its current look, photo taken 11 Mar 2013

On closer look, at one of the tallest stems, there is some new growth in between the leaves: could it be finally forming some flowering buds?

I have never seen my aeonium do any flowers before, though I have seen aeoniums in some areas do that..Hoping it will..on the other hand, I hope it does not mean the plant is stepping on to a final dying phase if indeed it is a bloom in the making. Rolling my eyes.
