My aeonium arboreum has various looks through the seasons.

On closer look, at one of the tallest stems, there is some new growth in between the leaves: could it be finally forming some flowering buds?
I have never seen my aeonium do any flowers before, though I have seen aeoniums in some areas do that..Hoping it will..on the other hand, I hope it does not mean the plant is stepping on to a final dying phase if indeed it is a bloom in the making.
