Andi, it sounds like your neighbors are worse than mine!

I've been wondering if the better thing is to see what grows from the stumps this summer, or to replace them with 8 foot specimens. I think I may give them a year to see what happens. Wrestling those roots out the ground would be a massive undertaking, and could only aggravate my tendonitis on top of everything else!
