I started doing that many, many years ago with PlantFiles but never really finished it, so I think I took it down.
I could make an upload place where you could record yourself saying genus names and uploading them. But if I made the functionality, how many people would actually do it? I wouldn't want to build such a function in unless I knew there were a few people who really wanted to contribute by posting recordings.
