I spent all day yesterday at the EPCOT International Garden Festival. I worked the MG desk and met folks from around the world. As luck would have it, they were having an orchid class in the same building and I participated. It wasn't too bad and they gave everyone a little mini-Phal and had us pot it in a ceramic, coffee cup sized vase with no drainage holes. To make things worse, the potting medium they had for us to complete this task was water-logged moss. No one could understand why I was crying. Anyway, I already have it repotted so it should be fine. My concern is the message they are sending to the public.
