Besides, just for the sake of argument, what if this person's a misanthropic housebound person? I have no car. If I didn't have friends, I'd have to walk 9 miles to the nearest Walmart or, at best, walk 2 miles down the highway to the bus stop, wait for the bus, and then transfer to two other buses to get to Walmart. And it's raining today! And cold! And guys driving down the highway would whistle at me from the back and then cringe in horror when they see me from the front and realize I look like just like their grandma!
