Do you like Texas Hill Country plants, Joseph? Strangely enough, Enquist didn't include a picture of that particular salvia in his book, even though he did find it while he was photographing plants for that book. Right now, I'm waiting for my Cedar Sage (Salvia Roemeriana) to bloom...I can barely see a bit of red color showing. For a long time I thought they would only grow in the yard where I could water them. Then just for the heck of it I threw seed in an area by the front driveway. They've naturalized out there and survived the droughts without watering. Cedar Sage:
