I found some clues to a few Brunfelsia which may help to confirm or exclude, but uniflora isn't one of them.

"uniflora" does suggest single flowers rather than in cymes, although it looks like more buds forming next to a flower at the end of a stem, they could be single flowers coming from new leaf stalks. I don't know how that compares with other species.
