I'm finally getting out there, too. It's still too early for me to know what survived the winter. The only green showing is from bulbs. Very few of my Hellebore are doing anything. I did a preliminary clean up on two of the 10 beds. Since the Hybrid Tea Rose bushes are starting to come to life, I sprayed them with copper sulfate and fed them a little organic nitrogen and bone meal. Sprinkled some bone meal on the bulbs that were showing also. The weather will be cool until the next weekend and then the temps go up supposedly. I'll know more about what's going on out there by then.
