Sherry, really am liking the looks of this one though I am not a "red" person. However, my husband remarked the other day that he would like to have Salvia "Lady In Red" back in the garden. We only grew it in the garden when we lived in the FT. Worth area. It was an annual there, but always re-seeded so we usually had at least one or two blooming. I prefer perennial types, and I find it interesting that you have this one in lean soil in full sun, and it is 5 X 5. That would work for us here, I don't see any plant we have growing up to 12 feet, except for the moonflowers we always plant for the couple of trellises we have. This just might be the red I could get for my husband, it looks really pretty.
