I've started a new thread for this so that the chat thread doesn't get filled up with pictures. I've been a bit snap happy the last day or two!
My pot/gravel bed finished, I'll never lay patio's for a living, but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Especially as I've never tried anything like this before! The only thing I'm not keen on is the willow edging to stop the whole thing falling into next doors garden. I'd love to put a fence up but that would block most of the afternoon sun from the garden, so best leave it as it is.

Pot of calcareum that I bought yesterday. When I split the pot I could see that all those chicks came from just one hen - amazing!

After some consideration and measuring I've decided to leave the tin tubs alone for the time being, and make my rock garden in this quarter circle, maybe I could expand it next year though!
A quick route around in the bit of the garden that I don't admit to knowing that belongs to me, resulted in a good haul of stones to start off with
