Mona, my pepper plants were eaten up by slugs last year so I never did get any peppers. I only plant a few. last year had three. I will get some this year, maybe three again but this time plant them in the new tomato bed so that they will not get destroyed. I also plant brocoli, onion sets, lettuce and greens. I want to try an eggplant or two this year as I have never tried eggplant before. And I planted melons last year but started the seeds so late that I only got about 4 melons out of it.
