Best podcast ever! Again. Another of my favorite topics.

I was listening and thinking. I think I've grazed on maybe 95% of the list. Growing up in the mountains did that for me. And I probably ate more poke sallet than most have ever seen.

I didn't know about the Red Bud and I have one blooming just outside my kitchen door. I'll have to try it tomorrow. But the thistle, I don't think so, nor do I want to try the sweet gum. The rest of them, been there and done that and would happily do it again. And I think I've written about most of them.

Another thing that happened during the podcast - as you mentioned each one, I could very nearly taste it, especially the ripe brown squishy persimmon. Yum.
