Thanks Bev,I am not planting the 'John Creech' were anything else has been planted. It's a wind blown spot in another part of my yard.I had tunnel vision trying to plant thing in the rock garden. Thanks to you & Lynn,i have snapped out of it and remembered i have a whole yard to work on!!! Whistling I will try to see if i happen to have the spot i'm planting them in a picture to explain more my 'wind blown' meaning.

I'm putting 'John Creech',Sarmentosum,Angelina and if i fine any 'blue spruce' i would throw that in as well, what i have has just started growing this spring it was just a few pieces last spring. So i don't want to take any off of it.

I am putting it between the 2 tree and there is a stump between them but it is gonna have to cover it itself.I am adding compost to this area. It's hard to see the ground, the hubby had cut the leaves Rolling on the floor laughing Does anyone else ride around on a riding lawn mower to cut the leaves? Hilarious! We thought instead of raking them & leaving ground bare the leaves would break down faster chopped up.It's working in most places but the wind blows through there.Should have seen me trying to break that ground up some Sticking tongue out Sad

These 2 pictures are right next to each other you can see better how wind blown,it just looks like white sand. It's so hard i can't dig a hole in it,which isn't saying much for me but it's hard ground.

I'm going to have to put a raised bed everywhere.
Sorry so long, have had a lot going on & i've been in hospital, had some catching up to do. nodding Group hug
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
