Lovage tastes like celery and I use the same in soups, stir fry, dressing, and potato salad etc.. . It is a bit stronger in taste so I use less,but I don't always have celery on hand . I did however grow celery last year and found it to be strong in flavor, not like the type purchased in the store.

In the fall before a freeze I pick and dry all the leaves.
