The thing about the Den lindleyi and jenkinsii is that EVERYBODY tells you not to water them in Winter. I didn't listen, knowing that under my conditions these plants would be toast by the time blooming season came around, truly! Both plants got watered daily straight through the supposed to be dry season. The lindleyi has been blooming like that for several years in a row now and I treated the new for me jenkinsii the same way.
My point is that the books don't always consider YOUR cultural conditions. In my case that would be full sun, minimum temp 60 degr. and excellent ventilation.
