No, a young Chinese couple who just had a baby in Jan. They know nothing about gardening. In fact, I dropped by on Monday as the husband said there were a few plants he was getting rid of because of the baby, he heard they were poisonous. I didn't know which ones he meant. It was the huge brugmansias. Too big for me to dig up (6-8 ft tall) plus I already had cuttings of them. Besides, I have always had kids and grandkids and if they are still of an age that they put things in their mouths, they are always supervised anyways, a must with a pond in the yard. Oh, and the pond was almost empty, they have not been adding water as it evaporates. The front and backyard were very overgrown and full of weeds and way too many self seeded euphorbias everywhere. I showed him what needed to be pulled out, he said he didn't even know what was a weed and what was a real plant. I had left several large pots behind because I had too many already, the plants were all dead. The house was a cluttered mess.
I won't be back. Glare
I had dug up most of my favorite plants though, if they were harder to find and replace although a couple of roses I wish I had also brought with me. I brought over 600 potted plants to the new house and still have a lot at my Moms to collect.
