Even with my warm temperatures, 85/73, I've brought in a few plants, it's raining here in hard tropical showers about a half inch to an inch daily, for the past week. Before that, it's been really dry. Crazy weather in Paradise! I have found one rotted branch already, and am closely watching all my plants.
Yesterday, I spotted one with a drooped branch. I immediately pulled it out of it's pot, shaking off a lot of potting mix. Then I got some dusty-dry ix, and mixed that half and half with the soggy stuff in the pot. Then I repotted, holding the plant and just spooning in the mix, keeping it as fluffy as possible, as there were new little white feeder roots growing. I would have hung the plant if it didn't have those new roots.
I've gotten so that I get a plant out of a pot real quick if I see a problem. Like, immediately!
