Calif-Sue moved some roses when she bought her new house I think. I have moved roses as well, but I didn't pot them - I dug them up & then put them directly in the my yard. I'm no help here, but I'm gonna watch what everyone says because if I have to move for some reason, I'm bringing my roses with me.
