I bought some good looking mini roses this weekend, and was very excited to see that they all had nametags. I recognized a few of the names, so I thought maybe they were all known varieties. The photos on the tags matched the blossoms on the roses, so I thought maybe I could look them up.
so far, I've only found good data for 2 of them: Starina and Nancy Hall. HMF either didn't have anything, or didn't have the size on the rest.
I'm not particularly concerned about accuracy of registration as I don't intend to show these or anything. I just want to know how big they will get. HMF said Nancy Hall only gets 10" tall, so that's important!
The grower website says 18-24" for all of them. I doubt that generic info is right.
Here's the list:
Cracker Rose Pink
Louis Philippe
Nu Gold
Royal Ruby Morey 1972
Real Pink
Baby Elizabeth

All are definitely minis. They are all 10-12" tall at this point, with beautiful little miniature blossoms. None appear to be micro-minis. Royal Ruby and Cracker Rose Pink appear to be a miniature polyantha type. Does that help?
Confused
I'm trying to post photos but my internet connection is too slow today. I'll add them once it is running faster. grrrr Verizon....
Thanks!
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
