Chris, my brother and I grew up learning that we shouldn't fight nature; we should just make do with what we have. So I think my wisteria tree and his ivy arch would be called 'making do'.

Isn't that the truth, Sheri; wisteria sure has a southern charm all its own. And that color - wow - sometimes mine has a blue tint and sometimes it's more purple, but you're right, I'd love to be wearing it.

Anna, 'dramatic' is a great word for wisteria and for a lot of other vining plants.
