Good morning all!

@Evan, my son is always victorious. I attribute this to learning tactics from Pokemon cartoons. He is a very worth opponent who always emerges victorious. :)

As promised, I have new photos. One is of the whole plant with its new leaves emerging. I tend to get a new leaf every two weeks or so. Saying that, with more daylight hours, etc., it should start growing faster . . . . I hope.

Ignore the plant on the bottom. This is an Australian violet I hope will be a ground cover of sorts for it. When I originally posted, I did post twice as mentioned. I did find some direction to suggest this was possibly Homalomena 'Emerald Gem'. Here is a fun blog I found with a really good photo of it.

The author has a great sense of humor I think.

At any rate, here are my photos. As always, I appreciate all the kindness of everyone here willing to help out in the quest of identifying our beloved plants. Take care and have a great day!
