The first place I would start for daylilies is by going to the AHS Display gardens in your local area, and looking to see if there are any sellers listed on the AHS Source List for your area. Go to them when the plants are in bloom and see with your own eyes what does well in your area, with your climate. Ask the display garden owners for recommendations.

Then I would see what AHS club is in your area, and try to go to one of their shows. You can find out there who's showing ( which equals who is growing) in your area, and there are usually flyers for local sellers at shows. Clubs often have sales to the public each year to where you can get good prices on daylilies. Start at this link to find your region, then you can find clubs in your area after clicking on your location.

Have you looked at the "Recommendations" tab here at ATP found at the top of each page? It's a fairly new feature, but still a good resource.
For garden seeds and my favorite Chinese Hand Hoe - I have bought from Pinetree Garden Seeds for years and years. I really like their lettuce mix.

I don't buy many tools any more - have all I need, but when I did buy things, I found A.M Leonard to be a good quality place. Still the place I go for rolls of tags, marking flags, etc.
